Nearly 3,000 troops assembled just south of Fayetteville, TN at a site dubbed Camp Blount, to honor Governor Willie Blount. On October 12, 1813, with Jackson in command, the army headed south to meet the Red Sticks.
This historic site includes 3 historic trails, wayside informational markers, the Greer Cabin and the Volunteer Statue dedicated to Tennessee’s first volunteers. Come visit and experience an important part of history!

Carriage House Players is a community theater group located in
Fayetteville, Tennessee. Previous plays include Shrek, the Musical, The Foreigner, The Music Man, Enchanted Sleeping Beauty, a Year in the Life of Frog and Toad, The Sound of Music just to mention a few. The performances are held at the Fayetteville-Lincoln County Museum Theater at 521 Main Avenue South. The Voices of Carriage House is a music ensemble that has Summer and Christmas performances. 2022 we are celebrating our 35th year in continuous operation! Check out our events on FB.

Selection includes first quality, quilt-shop-only fabrics from many of the well-known fabric vendors in the quilting industry. Batting, notions, and customer service round out our offerings. An extensive selection of patterns and books are ready and waiting for your next project or for inspiration. We sell on Etsy. Stitchin’ Camps are held in April and October. Visits to the shop are by appointment only.
